Well, I finally found The Thirteenth Tale in a bookstore. It took me a while, though!! But, while I was there looking at all the featured books on display, I ran across one that caught my attention:
Jesus Land by Julia Scheeres
And, yes, it's a memoir. (I swear, I do read other books!) I was intrigued by reading the description on the back flap & I've only read the first chapter so far, but it seems like it's going to be a great book!! (And, one that's probably hard to read since it deals with racism.) I'm hoping to finish it while we're in the Philippines, so I'll bring it back to pass on to whoever wants it next.
Has anyone read it already?

ver even heard of that book, memoir girl.
I ordered 13th tale from half.com and should receive it any day now. Of course, unless I have another fiasco like when I got Next off of ebay and it never came.
