I have written things in books - especially ones I give as gifts - as recently as Father's Day. I wonder if those book will end up in someone else's hands at some point - no doubt they will. I have also bought books at antique books stores (I love old books) and some of them have really old inscriptions. I might have to go back and read those - I forgot what they said.
