I just finished this book this morning. I loved it! It's Bridge of Birds by Barry Hughart. I found it by browsing Amazon one day. I noticed this book had a 5 star rating from 165 people. When I see something like that, I figure the book has to be good. And it is! It's a unique novel. Fantasy, adventure, wit, wisdom, a great plot, memorable characters, etc. One of my favorite reads ever. If anyone wants to borrow it sometime just let me know. I think you'd really like it.

I love that your book club has a site, I was looking for inspiration books since we have club tomorrow you have definately inspired me.
I would love to borrow it sometime. I may not like it much since you did not mention a Preacher in the Country but I will sure give it a try. :) !!!
