I just finished Me & Emma last night (my birthday book from Amberly - thanks!), and I am still thinking about it. I am tempted to go back through and re-read sections after the perspective change at the end of the book. All I know is that throughout this book I longed to help these poor girls - hug them, adopt them, do anything to get them out of their current situation. It was very good (a sad and tough read), but very good. I would be more than happy to send this one over to anyone interested in reading it. (I know Becky has already read it!)

it was a touching, disturbing book indeed. What makes it so sad is knowing that there are tons of kids really living in that situation today and like you, I wish I could reach out and help them all feel loved and safe.
